Marc O’Krent, originally from Los Angeles, California, discovered his passion for wines while studying at the University of California, Berkeley, in the 1980s. He further honed his skills through private mentorship within the Southern California Winemaker Network.
From 1986 to 1996, Marc was an active member of Zinfandel Advocates and Producers (ZAP), where he enjoyed several successful years as a Zinfandel winemaker. His passion for winemaking eventually led him to Europe, where he traveled extensively and drew inspiration from the remarkable work of winemakers worldwide.
Craig McGinness's journey into the world of wine began with extensive travels to Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley, where he developed a deep appreciation for the craft. His knowledge expanded further through educational trips across Northern and Central California, as well as Asia, where he immersed himself in diverse wine cultures and practices.
Craig is deeply passionate about not only the art of winemaking but also the rich narratives that surround it. He believes that the true essence of wine lies in the stories of the people who craft it and the unique terroirs where it is produced. Craig is dedicated to connecting the wider world to these stories, bridging the gap between winemakers and those who appreciate the profound history, culture, and personal dedication that go into every bottle. His commitment to sharing these narratives is at the heart of his work in viticulture.
